Introduction & Goals

WorldWise Publications publishes the candid stories of global living without the false veneer that coats most travel books. Through writing that provides honesty and optimism with a dash of sarcasm and wit, it guides readers navigating global careers and lives. Their branding needed to speak to the world traveler as well as the literature and publishing world.

The Process

Guided by the information gleaned during the discovery process to learn about the WorldWise Publications's goals, industry, competitors, values, and brand messaging, we determined that the visual branding needed to speak to the world traveler as well as the literature and publishing world. The next step was an exploration of symbols, concepts, images, and colors that align with the brand's goals and audience.
WorldWise's logo design combines the symbol of an owl, associated with wisdom, with the symbol of the globe.

The Solution

The website's user interface design is inspired by travel and literature themes, including textures and details that nod to those themes as well. Focused on writing, special attention is given to the blog page designs.
